They could get a signature as proof?
Sure, they could do that, but we wouldnât really know they had the signature until they showed up. We typically go over the registrants before the day of the class, to review that they meet all of the requirements. If we allowed committee meetings, then we would have to just assume that everyone who has not taken a class must have went to a meeting.
Each Committee Meeting should be keeping notes and tracking whoâs in attendance according to Committee Standing Rules. Someone could check the Committee minutes or the person taking the minutes should be able to report to membership who attended and is eligible for orientation.
