Ladeana, it’s probably OK. Because it’s only a few hours before the cleanup starts. I know your intentions are admirable and it would be excellent if some of our able bodied members would offer to assist the neighborhood.
And, it looks like this was already posted publicly elsewhere.
But neighborhood associations, including mine, have been asked to never publicly post details of neighborhood cleanups.
People outside of the particular neighborhood abuse the knowledge of a cleanup to dig through bulky waste left on curbs for cleanups, scattering the piles looking for recyclables and other items increasing the work to get everything picked up.
Also, people bring in trash from outside the neighborhood. Including hazardous waste and tires that cannot and will not be picked up as part of the cleanup.
The city’s official policy, and part of the agreement signed by the neighborhood, explicitly forbids giving out the details of a cleanup anywhere that a non-resident of the neighborhood could abuse the information.
