Those of you who have been members at MakeICT for a while know, of course, that we designed and built a Magic Wheelchair Fire Truck for a handicapped child a while back. What you may not know is that we are still considered one of their affiliated organizations, and could be asked to do a build for another child in need at any time.
I received the following email from Magic Wheelchair HQ today, and thought I’d share it with you, especially the team that worked on the Fire Truck wheelchair project:
Dear David,
We are thankful for a lot of things, but we are most thankful to have you in our Magic Wheelchair family of builders and volunteers. Your flexibility and willingness to help allowed us face this challenging and historic year head-on, ensuring that we were still safely delivering joy and magic when it was needed most.
We are grateful for these 2020 magical moments and can’t wait to make many more with you!
