March 31st Member Meeting and Bylaws Change

Dear MakeICT Members,

We will hold a quarterly member meeting on Sunday March 31 at 6pm in the Makerspace Classroom.

The main topic for this meeting is reviewing the bylaws changes proposed by the board. These changes are extremely important, and we will need 2/3 of 25% of our membership to approve the changes for them to come into affect. The voting will be held electronically so if you cannot attend the meeting, look in your email for the link to vote. We use surveymonkey for voting, and I will send an email through wildapricot.

Hi everybody, in prep for the meeting I saved the new bylaws to this wiki page so we can see them all formatted.

Are there any questions I can address before the meeting? This is a great place to discuss them, and if you’ve seen any issues that would prevent you from approving the new bylaws I’d like to get those out of the way ahead of time.

Link for voting went out to eligible members - aka in good standing for more than 30 days. Then I sent a follow-up email through wildapricot telling everyone to check your spam folder for your unique link. And I’m posting here.

Please vote - our quorum and approval requirements are very high right now! If I can answer any questions I will be happy to do so.
