It’s nice knowing that we helped inspire so much creativity here in Wichita.
Our maker-spaces represent a variety of interests and styles of making, and serve an even more varied population of makers, and that’s a beautiful thing.

I think its a new addition in the Arts and Crafts building, but I’ve been meaning to check it out myself. They’ve been posting classes lately so its only been recently I’ve heard of it all.
It’s been so interesting to see the makerspace scenes change over time. I like to visit makerspaces in cities around the world when I travel - I’d highly encourage anyone to do the same, you have to touch base with them well ahead of time but you meet the coolest people. You will hear common themes, success stories, and struggles, but realize we’re all part of the same world and trying to do the same things.
Brad that makerspace america has been on google maps for a while but I felt the same way as you did, who are they and are they real? I know that Groover labs and Go create are the real places where everybody people can JOIN so those are the other two I talk about when I describe makerspaces in general.
