The lid/cover on Luigi is not staying ip, struts appear to be weak. Posted a note on the lid as a warning

I figured out that Rabbit calls is a “gas spring”. The problem is both mario and luigi have the same 430mm (when open) ball and socket connection spring, and rabbit only has that size with the eyelet connections.
@Andyoutside since you’ll be ordering a part do you want to contact Rabbit and ask for their recommendation, maybe they have the replacement I just can’t find it on the website, or maybe there’s extra hardware they’d recommend to change over to the eyelets?
Or we can just get the eyelet version and figure it out.
It also has this part number printed on it: 13852193166 but googling didn’t help me with that at all.

The gas springs on Mario were replaced a few years ago. I think I ordered ones that would match Luigi, which is why you won’t find them on Rabbit’s site. If you look at the connection points you will see it has been “customized”.
Not sure if they are an exact match, but these are what I ordered (currently unavailable, of course):

Well, there is a 67 lb version. I’ll take one more look at the attachments when I’m there tonight and email fablab to confirm what we want.
