I saw this today, and while I’m sure there are caveats, this seems like a cool technique to hide fasteners:

Just think of the guy who decides to take the project apart in a few years and goes looking for the screws :thinking:

Just add a decorative screwhead on the top of the table as an indicator :-p

Or engrave “Hidden screw under here —>” into the wood. Problem solved.
