I was told someone here might want this:

I have one of these monitors

The thing is, it will flake out and go black and then come back again periodically. It is really random about it, like going a day or two just fine and then just being unusable for hours.
I think that maybe it only has this problem in DVI input mode and not in VGA, but I’m not really sure.It worked fine as a “server monitor” on a system that was never used, but my daughter tried to use it as her main display for a week and gave up.

Did you check to see if there was any kind of driver update? I had a problem like this once and I believe that is what fixed it.

It might be worth trying a different cable. sometimes theres a small break in a wire and it only works if its in the perfect posistion.

It’s likely has some bulging capacitors, typically on the power supply.
The smaller capacitors don’t bulge when they go bad, but they’re cheap enough to go ahead and replace, especially the ones near heatsinks.
