First Laser Project

Experimenting with the laser cutter and embroidery designs. Found these cute owls in a 1800’s embroidery design book. Used Adobe capture to create a vector image.

Adding some colored pencils and embroidery. I’m thinking to mount and bind similar to a quilt. Add a hook or something to hang from. It’s awesome to me to take something from so long ago and recreate it and with LASERS! :heart_eyes:

I will have the laser add the needle holes next time, the cardboard doesn’t love me sticking it lol :laughing:

Oh this is cool!

Inkscape will let you draw a line, set it to dashed at any width so it could just be dots, then stroke to path so the dots are outlined… we could make any pattern of holes that way, so many possibilities!
