Join Steve McHugh in this instructional class as he goes through the history and joys of powder coating.
This class will cover safety of the powder coating area, powder coating gun, air compressor and the powder coating oven. You will get to powder coat an item to take home to show off to your friends! Once you complete this class, you will be authorized to use the powder coating equipment at your leisure.
Powder coating is a type of coating that is applied as a free-flowing, dry powder. The coating is applied electrostatically and is then cured under heat to allow the powder to flow and form a βskinβ. The process is used to create a hard finish that is tougher than conventional paint.
