Learn the basics of 3D printing and how to use the printers at MakeICT!
We'll cover how 3D printing works, materials used in 3D printing, importing 3D files into slicer software, and important techniques for successful printing. Each participant will get a chance to practice with the software and print a small object to take home. Sample models will be provided, but participants may also bring in an STL file of a small (~3cm3) object to try out.
Completion of this class will grant authorization for using the 3D printers at MakeICT.

Regardless of your age or skill level, this hands-on class will give you all the materials you need to make a unique letter for a Valentine. Lear Heath Studio will provide all the supplies for writing, decorating, and sealing your letter. With numerous wax stamp designs and a spectrum of wax bead colors, attendees will get to customize their project to fit their loved one.

Learn the basics of vinyl cutting and how to use the vinyl cutter at MakeICT! We'll cover how vinyl cutters work, how to convert vector files for cutting, and how to prepare and apply vinyl decals. Each participant will practice with the software and cut at least one single color vinyl graphic to take home.
