We will be learning and using an open source GNU Image Manipulation Program, to convert digital photography into an image that can be laser engraved.
We will then engrave the image onto ceramic tile and discuss other mediums for engraving images. Finally, we will apply a thin layer of acrylic to our engraved image, to bring out detail.
*Requirement: basic knowledge of using a computer and navigating windows.
Please bring an image file on a USB thumb drive. If you don’t have one, I will have some for you to choose from.
