Dying in ceramics

I use the ceramics studio and I understand that things happen but it’s Freaking Hot in the Ceramics Studio as in Heat Stroke, I’m Melting, Dante’s Inferno hot back there. Is there something, ANYTHING that can be done back there. Like does someone have a small window unit they can put in the window. WE NEED COLD AIR.

Is the air conditioner on? Kiln running?

There have been times when the air was on, wood shop was cool, kiln was NOT on and it was extremely hot in ceramics studio. I think the air conditioner freezes up, some times it works and some times it doesn’t. I can understand the studio being hotter when the Kiln is on and I would not have said anything if that was the case because that’s just common sense. I will also go check the wood shop if the ceramics studio is hot to see if air was turned off after people left wood shop. It has been miserable in there more than half the time for the last 2 weeks. I POUR sweat like some biblical slave trying to build a pyramid in the dessert under full sun. I also want to teach a ceramics class but I don’t want to until the air is fixed, don’t want people heat stroking out on us.
