CALL FOR HELP!!

2020 - 21 Committee Orientation

Sept. 10, 2020 @ 6:30pm via Google Meet or in person at MakeICT

The success of MakeICT depends on members being actively engaged. We are a 100% volunteer-driven organization dependent on a community that takes part through committee membership. Each member of our MakeICT community can help by serving on a committee. It will take many hands to keep our organization and new facility running smoothly and growing. When everyone chips in, the load is light and no one is overwhelmed. 13 essential committees have an immediate need for members. A short orientation, followed by a kick-off committee meeting, viewed via Google Meet (link below) or in person at MakeICT will familiarize you with the committee duties and scope of influence over MakeICT. Join us to find out if serving on a committee is right for you.

Would the website fall under communications or IT?

The content on the pages, and posting it there would be communications (etc.). ITs responsibility should be limited to setting up and maintaining the server/software, not content management.

That was my thinking as well but I don’t recall ever discussing the website when in communications meeting.
