When I joined I filled out a paper that listed committees and stuff I’d be interested or able to help with. Do I wait for someone to reach out to me for those or do I just join what I want to?
@AlidaA From what I’ve seen, most committees just say to come to a meeting and see where you fit in best. I think most meetings are posted on the calendar if I’m not mistaking.
I’ve seen those, just wasn’t sure how it worked. Thank you.
Better leads might reach out to all of the people who “raise their hand”. I’m not that good. I don’t know if you said woodshop. If you did, you can reach out. Likewise, you can message any of the leads on the forum or via email.
The best way is to just show up to a committee meeting, they’re all listed on the calendar.
Second best way is to reach out to a lead on the forum or email.

Facilities meets Tuesdays around 6 in the garage / welcome area to putter around the building and see if we can make the Maker Space incrementally better, you’re welcome to join us.
You are totally invited to the Education and Events meetings. We love having members help out! (But you should think about how what things you like to do and try to join a committee or Area that makes your heart happy. If you see me around, tell me what interests you and I can recommend a committee or two
