So recently ive been teaching my son to play chess. He’s really getting into it, but I’m having to kind of play random moves to help him get the idea. This has caused me to really want to play with an adult. Lol. Anyone game next Friday? I used to be really into chess… read a lot books level into it, but really haven’t played much in like 15 years.
Cant make any promises but i will be happy to give you a challenge though. Dont think i will win as i always sucked at chess

As a child I always wanted to learn but no one in my family had interest or the knowledge. As an adult I really haven’t had an opportunity to learn. I’m still interested in learning.
Ive got a mobile wooden set I can bring. I had a really nice crystal set but we can’t have nice things and the knight got broken. I used to display it and mysteriously the kids have no idea what happened.
Maybe we could put together a tournament if there’s enough interest. Chess games usually don’t really take all that long especially with timers. And if people don’t try to think 10 moves in advance.
Could maybe throw together a pot of some kind
