Hey All,
I have to do a kids activity building solar cars. Does anyone know how to pre-charge the solar panels? It’s no fun if we can’t get the cars running. In the past, putting them outside doesn’t work.

That’s not how that works. Electricity is generated when the wavelength hits the plate.
That’s why sometimes it’s better to use batteries.
Now you can use a larger solar cell, or multiple solar cells, or a parabolic reflector. Any reflector really.
