I don’t know if bentonite Clay has any uses in ceramics or other things, but I have about 2/3 of a bag left over from mixing some refractory years ago. If anybody is interested, please let me know. It’s free for the taking.
Hey Dave, if still available, I’ll take it off your hands
thanks for thinking of ceramics for this! How big is the bag? When you say refractory, I’m assuming that’s a pretty big bag!
Yeah I think it was a 50# bag originally. I may transfer it to a plastic bag since this one is starting to fall apart. My guess is there’s 30-35# left. I can bring it up to makeict and put your name on it.
Perfect! I’ve got a bin in the ceramics room but it’s small and full. I will also be there in ceramics on Thursday, the 20th. I appreciate you! ![]()
Yeah I don’t think this is fitting in a bin. I might leave it in a tote in the wood shop. Not sure if I’ll get it over there this week before my trip to San Antonio or not but I’ll let you know. Thanks!
No worries and no rush! Safe travels and thanks again!
I just left it in the woodshop by the drill press. You can have the tote that it’s in. I don’t know where I got the idea that it was like 50# of each but it’s not.
Sorry, I am not the best at keeping up to date on the forum and I’m just now seeing this! I’ve got a class this evening and will grab it then if it’s still there. I appreciate you!
