With all the 3D printers it would be really cool if we had a 3D scanner.

We actually do. The Kinect unit in the FabLab is set up to scan, and there is a turntable that an individual can stand on to do a 360-degree spin for photogrammetry. It isn’t high-res, and it isn’t perfect, but it is a start. Let me know if you’d like to try it out and I’ll walk you through it. Or you can ask Christian or James Lancaster, or any of a number of other folks.

have you had the chance to work with this scanner yet
I’ve have something i would like to scan that is 6" tall x 9" wide
or would some one have the time to show me how this works,
