Not sure what topic to tag this under but, I have an Autocad file for an item I am wanting to mock up to sell and would like to have a 3d model of it made so I can show off the customization of said item…I eventually want to work it into a website shop Linda thing where you csn customize it online and have the visual aide…if that makes sense to anyone.
So you want a 3D model that you can dynamically customize and view in a browser in 3D?

Here are my questions that I think others would need to know.
Do you have electronic files like dxf or pdf of 2d stuff? Do you have 2d dimensional drawing, front, side, top, orthogonal.
How complex are we talking.
Is it a single piece or some sort of multi part assemble.
Are you wanting simple scaling, or enter length, width, height.
Is this your ip? Are you reverse engineering something else.
Are you wanting help to learn how to do it yourself, or are you wanting to pay someone?
Are there a certain number of set configurations, or is it more open ended? If there is a lot of freedom in the configuration you probably need a way to change the file parameters and regenerate the model in the server backend. If there are a relatively low number of configurations you could pre-generate the models and display them based on user input.
Thingiverse has the Customizer app that does something similar. All the designs are generated using OpenSCAD so it is very easy to script changes and re-generate the model without any GUI input. I don’t know if you can do anything similar with AutoCAD files.
