For those who earned more than $600 in 2018 by teaching classes or holding workshops, your 1099s are now ready. If you have a mail slot at the makerspace, your 1099 is in it (wide, white window envelope). If you don’t have a box or live outside of Wichita, I will be mailing yours on Monday morning, unless you’d like me to give it to you directly.
If you’d like me to save it so you can get it directly, just let me know by sending a message to @David or by emailing treasurer@makeict.org.
If you’re not sure if you have a 1099 coming, but would like to know for sure so you can file your taxes and get that juicy money back from Uncle Sam sooner, you can also message @David or email treasurer@makeict.org.
If you did not earn more than $600, but would like to be sure that you do earn way more, then be sure to start teaching more classes this year! If you don’t know how, message me and I’ll put you in touch with all the right people.
